Margaret Rosenau MA, RCST®, SEP, APP., has studied and practiced Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing since 1996. She is a teacher for the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America, (BCTA-NA) and has taught Craniosacral Therapy in British Columbia, California and Maine. She is also an associate faculty member of the Colorado School for Energy Studies in Boulder, Colorado. Throughout her career, she has combined her Craniosacral work with Somatic Experiencing, a body centered approach to resolving trauma developed by Dr. Peter Levine. She has been a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since 2001. In addition, Margaret is a Polarity Therapist as well as a Prenatal and Birth Therapist. She holds a master's in Gerontology and is always exploring how people develop and change physiologically and emotionally across their lifespan. Margaret has worked extensively with children and adults supporting them to find new and empowering ways of relating to their experience. Whether through verbal dialogue (Somatic Experiencing), or through bodywork (Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Polarity Therapy) or both (Pre+Perinatal Therapy) all of the modalities Margaret utilizes involve supporting the nervous system to rebuild its capacity to regulate in present time. Margaret’s intention is to meet her clients with skill, presence and authenticity and help them discover the support and inspiration that enables them to be more present and real in their relationships with themselves, their bodies and the world.
